As of June 10, 2003, my Athenian wardrobe retired, while I prepared my Trojan one. Finally, a gradeschool dream unfolds as I take on a new environment. It is a dream passed overdue, but sure enough, i'm confident it will take me far beyond the horizon. Yes! USC ACCEPTED ME!!
since march, i have been holding on to this secret of mine -- applying to USC w/out my friends' knowledge.. i wanted to enjoy every untainted moment w/ them.. but as i enjoyed their company, i felt the burden of guilt infesting the very depths of my heart.. avoidance was the game i played, quietly distancing myself from them to make the transition a little easier.. w/ the help of a chosen few (nancy, mary anne, lia, eunice, karmin, stef, walter & boles), i was able to maintain my sanity.. i still can't believe how one year w/ a group of people can create such emotional turbulence.. i've learned to love them from their strong points to their lil quirkiness..
nancy, mary anne, aldrich, alyssa, angel, anne, eunice, grace, jeriel, leslie, lia, michelle, raquel, shayna -- thank you for all u've done in contributing to my personal growth.. i will treasure "our moments"
GLA(m)A & my coconut boys -- gee, i could not have pictured my frosh year as fun & as wonderful as it was w/ u guys.. les, sorry that u had to hear it from someone else & thnx for pushin me to do my application.. grace, the bond is not broken! pls don't cry.. anne, thnx for the encouragement & congrats on gettin ur license.. jer, "i know i can - be what i want to be - if i try hard at it" just remember our lil moments.. drich, i'll miss ur open-mouthed way of talking & ur attempt to freak me (altho u'll never get the chance! har har!).. alyssa, i haven't told u yet. wait for my call
